Budget roughly HUF 4,000 to 6,000 per adult and HUF 1,500 to 4,900 per child for a major Budapest attraction, and HUF 55,000 to 125,000 for a week of English-language day camp; every figure below comes from the provider's own published price page, as of August 2026.

Good to know: Closed on Mondays, open Tuesday to Sunday 9:00 to 17:00 with the cash desk closing at 16:30. One or two parents or guardians with at least two children under 18 pay HUF 1,500 each instead of the full adult rate. Under 6s and over 70s are free, and on the first Sunday of the month entry is free for visitors under 26 and for two adults accompanying a family member under 18. Read the small print first: the museum states that its concessions and free admissions apply only to citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, with an ID card or passport shown on entry, which makes several of these savings unavailable to non-EEA expat families.

Good to know: Runs all year including public holidays, every day except Mondays from the beginning of September to the end of April, so a winter Monday trip will not work. Cash in forints only at most stops, with cards accepted at Szechenyihegy, Szepjuhaszne and Huvosvolgy. Under 6s ride free, the family day ticket covers two adults plus three children or one adult plus four children and allows unlimited journeys that day, and bikes cost HUF 500. Good to know: The museum's own site contradicts itself, so check before travelling: the English homepage says WE ARE OPEN with hours of Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 to 18:00 and Monday closed, while the footer on every page still reads Closed for the season, reopening Spring 2026, and the price page publishes only winter interactive programme hours of 10:00 to 15:45. The homepage also warns that the park is not accessible in its full area because of dismantling works and that discounted tickets apply while they continue. Ring ahead on +36 1 450 1497 or +36 70 320 9930, both published by the museum. Closed dates in 2026 are 4 to 6 June, 11 July, 5 September and 23 September, and there are eight free admission days, including 1 May and 1 November. | Family full-day (1 adult + 2 children under 14) | HUF 23,500 |
Good to know: The operator stamps its price list Prices from 20th July 2026, and the ticket includes Sauna World. Cheaper three hour and 7:00 to 10:00 morning tickets exist (adult HUF 9,500 and HUF 4,200); a three hour ticket gives 15 minutes extra for changing and then charges HUF 50 per minute, and the same overstay rate applies to swimming passes and the sauna area. Family tickets require the children to be under 14, and Sauna World is closed to under-14s. Same-day tickets cannot be bought online, only for future dates. From 1 September the operator says the slide and sauna schedule changes, so check the timetable. It sits well north of the centre in the IV. district, so factor in the journey.

| Art club, ages 5 to 14, outside pupils, 15 sessions | HUF 97,500 |
| Martial arts, ages 7 to 14 (same price for outside pupils) | HUF 5,000 per session |
| Art summer camp, 5 days | HUF 110,000 |
| Bushcraft summer camp, 5 days | HUF 125,000 |
Good to know: Most clubs run Monday to Friday from 16:00 and are priced by term, so the figures above cover a block of sessions rather than a single class. Check which price applies to you: several clubs quote one fee for REAL School pupils across terms two and three and a different fee for outside children counted in sessions, for example art at HUF 99,000 for REAL School pupils against HUF 97,500 for 15 sessions for outside children, and chess at HUF 99,000 against HUF 88,000 for 16 sessions. A few clubs, including Hungarian for non-natives and Move and Master, are open to REAL School pupils only. Camp fees are quoted per five-day week, with 15 percent off for payment before 10 May 2026 or for a second child from the same family. Reach Kaszasdulo on the HEV or buses 34, 106 and 134. Contact is by email at [email protected], with no public phone line.

| Padel tennis premium class supplement | HUF 8,000 or EUR 22 |
Good to know: Two venues: the Buda camp at Premier Padel Park, 1113 Budapest, Villanyi ut 14, for ages 7 to 11, and a Pest camp around Jaszai Mari ter and Margaret Island for ages 8 to 12. Six year olds are accepted at the Buda camp if they start school in September. The site is inconsistent about the upper limit, since some individual classes such as padel and dance are advertised to age 14 at the Pest venue while the camp's own age limits box says 8 to 12, so confirm your child's age is accepted before paying. Children need basic spoken English or Hungarian at around A1 level. Teacher ratio is one to five in groups of four to eight. Extended supervision runs to 18:00 on request, and payment can be split into two, three or four instalments depending on when you book.

Long days from 7:30 to 17:30 suit two working parents. It is in the VIII. district near Ludovika, so check the minibus route if you live in Buda.

The camp fee covers 8:00 to 17:00 with two training sessions a day, a hot lunch and a snack, and the two turns are listed as 29 June to 3 July and 6 to 10 July, though the school's page does not print the year, so confirm the dates before booking. Ratings, prices and details were last checked in August 2026 from each provider's public pages, Google Maps and Trustpilot; they change, so always confirm directly with the provider before booking or paying.
